So, final day of testing. It was the most fun day too! Silas loved it and he did not want to leave…at all. The psychologist and him just played together. Silas had him laughing so hard too, it was pretty cute. You can tell this guy just loves kids.
At the end of the appointment he told me how wonderful Silas is and how much he wanted to squeeze him. It’s true, Silas is incredibly wonderful. I don’t think it’s just me, I think Silas is one of those people who light up a room when they walk in. He really really does.
At the end he said it was still clear that Silas has autism. He’s calling it high functioning autism at the moment. We’ll get his report next Wednesday and we’ll have that part of our lives over with. Phew. I’m glad it’s done and I’m very glad that he easily recognised in Silas what I’ve also been seeing. Good good good.
Awesome, awesome, awesome. It’s so good when the health professionals recognize the beauty you see in your own children. I’m so glad to hear that news, way to go doc!
