I thought they wouldn’t eat me out of house and home until they were teenagers…not NOW!
For example, a typical breakfast for Silas is 3 eggs, a banana, an apple, some crackers, a rice cake, sometimes another banana, a kiwi and then I say STOP SILAS because it’s almost lunch time. Then Isaac downs over a cup of oatmeal, a banana, Silas’ apple core, another banana, some crackers, whatever else he can scavenge from SIlas…etc.
That’s a lot of food. I start feeling full with 1 egg, not THREE. I buy 5 doz eggs at a time from a farm. Silas loves them. But I feel like nothing lasts in this house, it’s crazy how much those two can consume. They don’t go too crazy for lunch and supper, although Isaac did have 3 bowls of stew last night.
Where do they put it all?
*Where do they put it all?*
Lace up your running shoes. They convert it straight to energy.
Remind me not to invite all of you out for breakfast when we come up next week.
My boys are the same, but at least it goes in spurts and usually not at the same time. I remember once when Keeve had 6 pancakes, a banana and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Then at 10:30 he was back in the kitchen saying he was hungry??? Good grief!
I don’t know where it goes, but I know where there’s a good feed store. They have bags of oats and other grains. It’s meant for livestock, but, whatever.
I’ve been experiencing that with Ephram too. If we end up with 3 like this I’ll have to work full time just to feed them!
Rix-oh my…if there’s pancakes he’ll eat a dozen
Juju-BAAAHAHAHAHA
Leah…I was ‘baby-sitting’ a 6 year old a couple of weeks ago…we had my homemade version of Hamburger Helper. She just kept eating. I think she would have had the entire pound of hamburger and all the noodles if I hadn’t told her that Ambrose and I needed to eat some of it too!!
GAH! Melissa you stopped blog stalking me!
Ha ha – Silas’s applecore. That makes me giggle.
Nope…I will still stalk…I just like to poke my fingers in every once in awhile 🙂
