OK, I usually don’t write two blogs in one day but I need to share this moment with someone, no one else is around. I just felt the first touch of baby toes (or some other bit) on my ribs. I haven’t looked forward to this certain type of contact because it’s TERRIBLY annoying and painful!! I carry my babies very high so I get to enjoy this now for the next 4 months. At least I got to dig my fingers into my tummy and feel his limbs a little. Anyway, this is the beginning of the end of my sanity, from now on I’m going to be digging little toes out of my poor ribcage and once they come out into the world, I plan to bite them. I remember when I examined Silas after he was born I looked at his little toes and said “THOSE are the little culprits!” Does this mean he’s already head-down?? hmmm. Naughty baby! Oh I just felt it again, perhaps if I’d sit up straight I wont feel it….
….I guess I kinda like it.
Yap, that would mean he’s head down. Its nornal for babies to be head down around this time. Sophie was at 18 weeks. Speaking of toes in ribcages…my mom said that she had visible bruising from me, and brad’s aunt had a broken rib from her first son..not to scare you or anything..:) Its better to be kicked in your ribs, then carry low like i did and have a permanent head on your bladder.
I have the bladder thing and cervix twinges too. 🙁 woe is me. ha ha
This made me smile! 😛 My little one was all elbows!
